Dedication to the revival of Rites of Passage

Threshold Arts

I have dedicated my life and art to the revival of rites of passage work.
Here is why:

When we remember the art of rites and ritual, we begin to restore balance—
to Earth body
and collective body,
through knowing they are one.

To honor every transition—birth, change, death, becoming
is to engage the sacred intelligence that guides us back into belonging
with the cycles of life
and the rhythms of earth.

Across time and culture, ritual and rites of passage have guided us through transformation
helping us weave change into embodied wisdom,
holding us through grief and pleasure.

In reverence to those who came before, I continue to remember the ancient art of ceremony for thresholds.

Through my devotions and divinations:
tattoo, photography, bodywork, and archetype architecture readings—
I guide people to witness themselves at the gateway of change,
to honor where they have been and where they are going.

Together we mark the sacred passages of their becoming
through image, storytelling, somatic care,
and the marked memory of ink and blood.

To tend thresholds is to engage in decolonization.
It invites us back into the ancient knowing that transformation is not a task to conquer,
but a luminous initiation of body, psyche, and spirit.

It unravels the colonial conditioning that taught us to sever from sensation,
bypass grief,
speed through change,
and dominate creation instead of unifying with it.

Threshold arts reawaken the intimate wisdom of transition,
restore the sensual intelligence of presence,
and return us to the slow, embodied crossing.

They unseat the victim archetype
and restore the sovereign throne of empowerment.

Thresholds are gateways that return us to truth—
to heart’s wisdom,
deep meaning and belonging,
and the responsibility to traverse life
with greater awareness of the whole.

Long before temples or churches,
before prayer had words or gods had names…
this way is as old as fire
an unbroken current running beneath time.

Earth teaches us that initiation is necessary for life to continue.
The serpent sheds her skin.
The bear descends into darkness.
Butterflies, in their dance of life and death, reveal the quintessential metamorphosis
complete dissolution before rebirth.

Humans have always gathered to honor change

and return to this truth:
transformation is sacred.

Change is the only constant.

If a threshold of change is calling to you,
you don’t have to walk it alone.
My offerings are here to empower and guide you
in the art of becoming.
