Sage & sigils

My name is Angelica Sage.
I have devoted my life and art to the revival of rites of passage.

I guide people through thresholds, spaces where endings and beginnings merge, where transformation is not rushed, but truly honored. My work unfolds at a pace that respects the nervous system and the body’s innate, ancient intelligence, allowing change to be deeply integrated for one’s highest becoming.

Each ritual becomes a gateway for conscious transformation.

To offer is the antidote to extraction. Everything I create is an offering.
Art, to me, is invocation, a doorway, a way to slip between the seen and unseen, where time softens and the sacred takes form. My hands speak the language of creation, carving, tracing, imprinting, conjuring, moving in conversation with the elements.

My intention is to support those I work with into a steady seat of sovereignty, to unseat the victim archetype and reclaim true liberation, to arrive in a deep, embodied knowing of self.

Often, we move through life carrying stories, patterns, and beliefs that are not our own. They take root in the body, held in tension, memory, and scar tissue.
I believe in shedding and composting what does not belong to us, creating space to truly listen to the voice of the spirit.

This is why I often begin with bodywork before tattooing, to soften, open, and clear the body so the mark is not placed over unconscious holding, but into presence, intention, and truth.

Through my devotions and divinations, tattoo, photography, bodywork, readings, and private ceremonial containers, I guide people to meet themselves at the edge of change.
To honor where they have been, and where they are going.

We mark the passages of becoming through ink, image, storytelling, divinatory insight, and somatic care.
These threshold arts reawaken the intimate wisdom of transition, restoring the sensual intelligence of presence and the power of a slow, embodied crossing.

I hold a double degree in Fine Arts and Art Education, which grounded me in visual language, form, and storytelling. Yet my deepest education has come through lineage and listening.

Rooted in my Native Tewa and Spanish ancestry, and shaped by a lineage of makers, I was raised surrounded by traditional pottery and form. These early imprints taught me to carry line with reverence, to feel shape, to honor curvature, and to understand the intelligence of negative space.

While academia gave me structure, it is through listening, to body, to Earth, to spirit, that my work has truly been formed.

~ In service to sovereignty, transformation, and the reclamation of self.
~ If you feel the threshold, you are already at the door. I’m here to support you through.
