To offer is the antidote to extraction.
Everything I create is an offering. Art is an offering, an invocation. A doorway. A way to slip between the seen and unseen, where time slows and sacred takes form. My hands speak the language of creation… they carve, trace, imprint, and conjure, moving in conversation with the elements. Whether marking skin, capturing light, shaping earth into form, or stirring honey to soothe the heart, I listen for what wants to be revealed. Here I drop into the current of something vast & timeless, letting vision unfold as it is meant to.
I hold a double degree in Fine Arts and Art Education, which laid a strong foundation for the visual language I now bring to the body. My formal studies offered grounding in visual storytelling and technique, but it’s been my lifelong exposure to art, especially through my Native and Spanish ancestry and a lineage of makers that has truly shaped my eye. Growing up surrounded by traditional pottery, I see now how those forms taught me to carry lines with reverence, to feel form, and to honor curves and negative space.
We often reflect the beauty we admire. While academia gave me structure, my deepest education has come through listening. Listening to my body, to Earth, and to the spirit thread that weaves it all together.
There is a pulse beneath all things, an ancient rhythm that threads through our bones and breath. I follow that cadence into creation, letting my hands become instruments of something vast and remembering. My art, whether upon skin, in clay, or through the lens is a ritual of offering, a way to honor what wants to be seen, held, and carried forward. Each piece is a prayer, woven into the fabric of existence.
With gratitude
