After witnessing hundreds of tattoo journeys, I have come to see that the most profound moments occur when people are given the space to fully drop into the experience. When the body feels safe, supported, and unrushed. Rather than approaching tattoo as a rushed appointment, this container creates the conditions for preparation, marking, and integration.

My foundational code is simple: Presence. Reverence. Respect.

I have witnessed again and again that when people are truly nourished, they receive and integrate ink much more deeply. This container is designed to support the deepest nourishment possible for this experience.

Tattoo is not only symbolic, it is biologically fascinating. When the skin is intentionally opened, the body responds with a cascade of intelligence: blood rises to the surface for repair and integration, the immune system activates, and endorphins release to help the body move through sensation. This healing unfolds over multiple days, which is why I believe it is so powerful to slow down both before and after the ritual. This work goes far beyond the moment of receiving…it is about integration. Integration is just as important as receiving. The synthesis must be honored.

This opening can invite memories, emotions, and stored tension to move, allowing grief, truth, or long-held trauma to surface and release. In this process, people often enter altered states (touching ancestral connection, emotional catharsis, and at times experiences that can feel deeply psychedelic.)
This is part of why it is so crucial to hold a safe, clean, and clear energetic container for the work.

Through years of holding ceremonial space, I have come to understand that the deepest respect we can offer tattoo is to move slowly and in full presence. Allowing the body time to open, receive, and integrate before returning to the pace of everyday life. In a culture that has often reduced tattoo to trend or transaction, reclaiming slowness, reverence, and relationship with the body is part of the decolonial work: remembering tattoo as an ancient practice of storytelling, sacred adornment, threshold, and intention. To open the flesh and encode intention ain’t no small thing…

It is truly my honor to move in slow reverence at the feet of transformation.

You will be welcomed into my home and held in a private container designed to support you in fully receiving the initiation of marking your body with intention.

The Journey

Day One :: Arrival & Preparation of the Body Temple ::

We begin by grounding into the land and settling into the container. We will share a nourishing meal prepared with local, organic ingredients.

You will then enter a ritual bathing experience inspired by Ayurvedic medicine—Abhyanga—applying warm St. John’s wort oil to relax the nervous system and prepare the body for ink.

I will prepare a personalized herbal bath aligned with your intentions. Plants such as mugwort for threshold crossing, rose for heart opening, and chamomile for relaxation may be called in. This ritual is to soften, drop inward, and allow the waters to cleanse and prepare your body temple.

Following the bath, I will offer a two-hour bodywork session, with extra focus on the area receiving the tattoo. This work gently opens the tissues, supports the nervous system, and encourages stagnant energy to move. As the body softens, it can attune more deeply to the transformation unfolding.

We will close with sound bowls to help seal your energetic field so you enter the tattoo process sovereign and grounded.

This time also allows our bodies to establish trust before tattooing begins. Tattooing is intimate and can be physically intense. Creating this foundation of safety, presence, and receptivity allows the marking to be received with openness rather than resistance.

You will then have my cabin space all to yourself—what I call the Owl’s Nest—to rest deeply and prepare for your ink journey.

Day Two :: The Marking ::

We begin the morning slowly with a tea sit. I will serve aged pu-erh tea, allowing us to arrive together in quiet presence and meditation, listening to the ancient wisdom of the tea.

From this grounded space, we move into an oracular session. I will offer a reading through a system I have developed called Archetypes and Architecture, exploring subtle energies within your field that may wish to be acknowledged, integrated, or brought forward as you cross this threshold.

After the reading, you will have time on the land while I prepare a hearty, grounding breakfast.

From there, we ritualize and create a coherent container where the body can fully open to receiving ink.

After the tattoo session, the remainder of the day is devoted to rest and integration. You will have time to relax on the land and allow the experience to settle into the body.

Grounding foods such as soup, tea, and nourishing snacks will be available throughout the day to support integration.

Day Three — Integration & Embodiment

The final morning begins with another tea sit, offering space to reflect on what has moved through you and to be witnessed in any insights that wish to be spoken.

We will share a hearty, grounding breakfast together.

We then move into an embodiment photoshoot, capturing images of you with your new piece and honoring the transformation that has taken place.

From here, we share a closing ceremony.

This offering is for those who feel called to receive tattoo as a rite of passage rather than casual adornment.

You may be moving through a life transition—grief, love, closing a chapter, stepping into a new identity, or deep soul reclamation… you feel me. Those once in a lifetime moments.

It is for those who value slowness, presence, intentional care, and devotion.

And honestly… this one is especially for my sensitive shawties.
The ones who feel everything.
The healers. The space holders. The ones who are often tending to everyone else.

This is a space where you get to be the one receiving.
To be nourished.
To be witnessed.
To be held.

It is also for those who feel the call to receive in deep relationship with the land, held by the ancient redwood forests and oceanic air of this place. Humboldt carries a specific, ancient frequency. The land itself is a vital part of the journey.

And if you’ve ever wanted to receive work from me but it’s a journey to get here… if you’re going to make the trip, you might as well truly arrive and receive.

The Tattoo Work

I offer two approaches to the design process:

Predesigned Work
We collaborate weeks before your container to create your piece.

Freehand Channeling
The design is drawn directly onto the body the day of the session, allowing it to emerge intuitively in the moment.

Both approaches create one-of-a-kind tattoos that move with the natural architecture of the body.

Availability

I will offer one Living Sigil container per month. We will coordinate timing together.

This offering will pause in September while I travel and reopen in the fall.

Investment

$3,333–$4,444 depending on size and complexity.
Payment plans are available leading up to the immersion.

The body remembers the moments when we choose ourselves.

A tattoo received in presence is a living sigil carried for the rest of our walk on Earth.

This container exists to give that moment the space it deserves.

Testimonials

““Having Angelica hold space for me from beginning to end was a gift I didn’t even realize I needed. There is something so rare and sacred about being fully held through an entire experience—not just the tattoo itself, but everything that moves through you along the way.

During my session, so much surfaced—ancient grief I had never been able to access before. Something about the needle, about the intention, opened a doorway. As I wept, Angelica held me with such presence and care. There was no rushing, no pressure—only deep patience and reverence for the process.

This immersive experience was unlike anything I’ve received in a long time. To be nourished, bathed, held through bodywork, and then tattooed, with integration support afterward—it felt like true, holistic care. As someone who is often the one holding others, I rarely receive this level of devotion.

To be witnessed and tended to in this way by another woman—with no agenda, no sexual energy, just pure, grounded, devotional presence—was profoundly healing.

I cannot recommend Angelica enough. What she offers is deeply intentional, rare, and truly transformative.” — Sonya

“Angelica is a living, breathing vessel for profound prayer through her hands. When she is inking your skin, it goes beyond the physical—it is ceremony. Angelica uses art as alchemy, co-creating symbols that become eternal blessings carried within the body and soul.”
— Harmony

“Angelica holds such a beautiful ritual space—clear, grounded, and deeply safe. From the very beginning I felt free to express my intentions with honesty and vulnerability.During the preparation we explored the energetic channel that wanted to be reflected through the tattoo. As she began sketching the design onto my skin, I could immediately feel the pathway opening. This tattoo is far more than a design. It is a living transmission that continues to unfold months later.

I’m deeply grateful.”— Mikayel
