holy breath

animal body 

reflections 

trace the contours of deep time

stretching back beyond the scope of perception

yet vibrating as a texture in my cells

It exists as a primal spark,

charged with polar currents,

the currents that carved &

birthed all we know

the dance of light and dark ~

woven into interstitial tissues of my being

I commune as carnal body 

trances me in 

sometimes it feels like 

the universe making love to itself 

ravishing fractals 

rainbows squirting  

god fucking itself open 

expanding, collapsing, re-forming

a pattern echoing through

every atom in me

these forces move through me, as me,

shaping each moment

I’m allowed to perceive light

with these eyes, sculpted in a womb,

each womb an iteration formed by

countless wombs before it,

a lineage of dark, fertile vessels 

carrying sparks of life to form 

ancient chalices sculpting carbon & star remnants ~ molding bodies to touch the light

so I let my stardust bones dance here,

in this suspended space,

where all matter & energy merge

where all is holy 

where dark & light dance 

into oneness 

& i dissolve

:: VEIL ::

often i can’t tell where 

my body ends & 

waters begins 

or is flesh only a myth,

a softened veil between me

& all that I am 

i sink and in sinking,

blur 

as though boundaries are wishes

we tell ourselves at night,

to feel safe

in these stardust bones 

but here, seduced into the void,

i humble deeper into my humanness,

letting go of edges, surrendering form 

to feel the rivers running

through my veins

& realize

i have never been separate,

never truly apart 

a soft unraveling into omnipresence,

where each pulse echoes in everything

each ripple knows my name,

and i dissolve, willingly,

into the vastness,

no edge, no end 

just this endless

sacred

belonging
