Pre-Tatu Guidance Bundles

If you feel a deeper call to work with me before your tatu ceremony, I offer bundles designed to align your body, spirit, and intention in preparation for this lifelong art. This process is very supportive if you know you are ready to be inked but you are not clear on imagery or body placement.

With a background in bodywork and energetic attunement, I apply somatic practices and knowledge of the meridian system to support your body’s readiness to receive. These sessions are an opportunity to explore the symbolism, placement, and deeper layers of your prayer, while also preparing your physical and energetic systems to open fully.

Building this close, woven connection before the tatu can be a powerful way to step into the experience with full cellular alignment rooted, open, and ready.

1. Visionary Call – $150
A one-hour virtual session to explore your story, your path, and your readiness. We’ll uncover symbols and intentions together through guided inquiry and body-based energetic mapping.

2. Deepening Bundle – $275
Two 1-hour visionary sessions.
This option gives space to explore what wants to come through over time. It allows for deeper inquiry, integration, and refinement of the vision.

3. Embodied Ritual Bundle – $480
Two visionary calls + one in-person session.
This includes hands-on bodywork and energy work to prepare the specific area of your body that is opening to receive the tatu. We’ll work directly with the meridian system and somatic intelligence to attune your physical and energetic body—clearing, opening, and anchoring you into full readiness to receive this lifelong marking.

How I Design Your

One of a kind Tatu

Freehand Channeling
This is a live process where I draw directly onto your body, following the natural contours, shapes, and flow of your form. I respond to your body’s story—its scars, markings, and unique landscape. This approach lends itself beautifully to abstract work, sigilism, flowing line work, and designs that wrap and move with your body’s curves.

Pre-Designed
For this process, I draw directly onto photos you send me of your body, ensuring the design perfectly fits your natural shape and curves. Pre-designed tattoos are ideal for incorporating specific symbolism, intricate imagery, or detailed elements—like a particular plant, animal totem, or perfectly symmetrical design. This method supports those who prefer to sit with their design thoughtfully over time before receiving the tatu.’

Can I do both Freehand and Pre-Designed in one piece?

Absolutely. Many pieces become a blend of both. We may start with a pre-designed element something symbolic, detailed, or symmetrical that’s been drawn onto a photo of your body and stenciled on during your session. From there, I can add freehanded lines or wrapping forms that respond directly to your body in real time.

FAQ

What is ritual—and why do you include it?
For me, ritual is presence. It is the act of breathing intention and life into what you are creating, of honoring the space between the physical and the unseen. Ritual is the remembrance of how powerful we truly are. As we are weavers of creation, destruction, and preservation.

In my devotion to tatu, I see each mark as an offering on the altar of the body. These ceremonies are a way to alter the altar with consciousness and care.
Tatu is a beautiful paradox, permanent markings on a temporary body. There is no other way I could approach this work. It is not something new, but a remembrance of something ancient, adapted to our time.

Design Process & Offerings & Pricing

Each tatu I create is channeled with care and presence. I pour deep attention into every design, ensuring it reflects your vision, your prayer, and your unique body. Because of the time and energy this requires, I charge for design work separately. This includes any revisions necessary to arrive at a clear and embodied full yes for both of us. Design time allows for full collaboration ~ your input is always welcome and encouraged. My tatu rate is $260/hour, but please note: this only applies to time the machine is running.
For example: if we’re in ceremony for 8 hours and I spend 3 hours actually tattooing, you are only charged for those 3 hours. Ritual time is part of the offering and is not billed at the tatu rate. If you feel especially nourished by the ritual container, offerings of gratitude through tips are graciously accepted.

To keep this work accessible and in alignment with my values, I offer a sliding scale of $200–260/hour for: Single parents & those of Native American decent.

If this applies to you, please let me know. I’m honored to support you.

A Note on Currency & Trust

For me, currency begins with trust ~ before money, before time, before ink touches skin.

Trust is the invisible thread that makes this work sacred. When you choose to step into ceremony with me, you’re not just booking a service, you’re entering a space of vulnerability, transformation, and creative collaboration. I honor the courage it takes to offer your body as canvas, and I meet that offering with reverence, transparency, and integrity. I trust that those who are meant to sit with me will feel that call. And I trust in right relationship ~ that when we both show up fully so something profound can unfold. This work is a living prayer. And trust is the ground it grows from.

What kind of ink do you use?
I use Dynamic Ink. I encourage all clients to do their own research on inks and ingredients if you have specific sensitivities or curiosities. Please enter our space informed and clear about your bodies needs.

Where do you work from?
I work from my sweet home studio nestled on beautiful land in Northern California. I also travel to offer this work in other regions. There’s an airport close by for those traveling in and plenty of beautiful spaces to stay.

When we alter the altars of our being through tatu, we’re initiated into carrying permanent prayers upon our skin—prayers that stay with us even as we return to the soil.

“Receiving from Angelica has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my entire life. I have never felt so seen, cared for and listened to. The way she channels prayers into tattoos is profound. If you want a one of a kind ceremony that will be meaningful for the rest of your life I highly recommend working with Angelica.” Rose
